		<description>&lt;p&gt;Linux distro developers have been unable to agree on standardized ways to do common things. It now appears application software vendors are taking the bull by the horns and saying, &quot;We&#039;re going to design our stuff to run on RedHat. If other distro&#039;s want to run our stuff they just need to present an operating environment that looks just like RedHat.&quot; That&#039;s a good way to force compliance. A wise move indeed! I hope they&#039;re successful.&lt;/p&gt;
