Finally. Dell has begun taking online orders for Ubuntu Linux PCs. You’ll find them available for purchase here. The VAR Guy plans to purchase one this week. He’ll let you know how the process goes.

Launching the Ubuntu systems over a holiday weekend was a smart move. Most bloggers and tech writers spent the past day focused on Dell’s decision to sell PCs through Wal-Mart. Now, Dell can use the slow holiday weekend to make sure early sales of Ubunty PCs go as planned.
