A ThinkPad just survived a hit-and-run here at the MuniWireless conference in Newton, Mass. The VAR Guy witnessed the brutal assault first hand and is now filling out a police report.
The notebook fell about three feet from a table onto a floor after a conference attendee tripped over the device’s power cord. Although it’s painful for The VAR Guy to replay the assault over and over in his head, he’s pleased to report that the ThinkPad survived the fall and rebooted successfully.
Sure, The VAR Guy prefers an Apple MacBook Pro. But in this case, kudos to Lenovo.
