Lexmark was my Ubuntu Bane.

Until we got an XP workstation for my wife (she needs it for email and work-specific apps).

After that, I was able to remove XP from my laptop, and enjoy the better wireless support for my Broadcom card of all things.

In any event, considering this list and the conference in general, not to mention the general atmosphere on a lot of FOSS sites and blogs- it's a pretty exciting time once again in the IT world.

Printer drivers indeed.

Speaking from personal experience here. Love the OS and everything about it, but the support for our (lexmark) printer lets it down.

Not the end of the world, but it just feels wrong to have to boot into Windows to print something out... Icky...

"Printer Drivers"?!?

Wow. #6 is ironic, given how the whole Free Software movement started. (If you don't know the history, try some of these keywords in a good search engine: MIT, Stallman, printer. :-)
