The VAR Guy has heard the rumors: IBM Lotus plans to announce Notes support for Apple’s iPhone next week during Lotusphere in Orlando. The VAR Guy has two quick observations.

First: Despite all the skeptics out there, the iPhone already is an executive business device. Look at all the applications that are coming to the iPhone. Second: Nobody cares much about Lotusphere anymore. Sprinkling in a little Apple magic will certainly help IBM Lotus to attract media coverage.
