Don't miss Charlene O'Hanlon's weekly columns...
I heard that almost 50% of the top MSP’s are using Connectwise to run their business. Is it a fact that the top players in the MSP arena are using similiar software?
QuickQuestion: Hmmm… The VAR Guy tries not to get caught in the PSA software debate. But here are some thoughts on your comment.
According to ConnectWise’s analysis, a large portion of the MSPmentor 100 list runs ConnectWise’s software. The VAR Guy can’t debate you there.
But it’s more than a business story: ConnectWise also has done a great job building user groups. And many of those user groups participate in the annual MSPmentor 100 survey…
In stark contrast: PSA rivals like Autotask are just getting started with user groups and grass roots campaigns like participating in the MSPmentor 100 survey. Likewise, Tigerpaw Software is holding its first user conference in a few days.
The next MSPmentor 100 survey launches Oct. 4. The VAR Guy (and his sister site, MSPmentor) will be watching to see if there are specific trends in terms of who actually fills out the survey.
