If you can sneak away from the office, feel free to join me at one or more of the following events on February 7, February 14 and March 30-April 1. Each event is designed for managed service providers, solutions providers and small business owners. The events have different themes and formats, but all of them will extensively cover the managed services space.

Also note: You’ll find these three gatherings listed on the MSPmentor Events Calendar (which includes a global map with plotted events). Here are the events we’ll be attending over the next few weeks.

  • February 7, Philadelphia — Managed Services Executive Luncheon: Hosted by Do IT Smarter, Xerox, MX Logic and Sonic Wall. Amy Katz (my business partner) and I are attending to get a feel for MSP trends in the Philadelphia area. I attended a similar Do IT Smarter event in December, and came away with some how-to information involving on-demand managed services, and moving into the managed print market. REGISTRATION INFO
  • February 14, New York — Breakfast on Broadway: Hosted by Telehouse America. I’m among the keynote speakers, and I’ll be discussing key findings from our MSPmentor 100 survey, as well as key managed services trends in the small and midsize business markets. REGISTRATION INFO
  • March 30 - April 1, Atlanta — The Managed Services Summit: Hosted by the MSP Alliance. This is the place to be if you’re seeking to network with peer MSPs and platform providers. Strong breakout and main conference sessions also provide real-world how-to information to attendees. We attended MSP Alliance’s conference last fall in San Jose, and came away impressed with the content and networking opportunities. REGISTRATION INFO

3 Comments on “Managed Services Events Worth Noting”

  1. Joe Dougherty Says:

    Joe,

I am doing some research on Managed Services companies with specific interest in companies that are engaging in “Managed Print Services”?

I have an extensive background in the Document Solutions space with companies such as Xerox, Ikon, and Print Inc. (MPS provider) and feel this could be a natural plug in to mangaged services companies portfolio of services?

I know that HP is extremely interested in leveraging this emerging segment but that most manufacturers are unable to unlock this significant opportunity for revenue growth. (2-6% of revenue)

I would appreciate your thoughts and should you which to reach me live my number is 215-534-1692.

Joe D: I will give you a all. You should also check out our sister site, MSPmentor, http://www.mspmentor.net. And also check out the hardware as a service section, which covers managed print services very closely.
