Avnet Technology Solutions today is expected to announce a U.S. distribution agreement with Motion Computing, which develops tablet PCs and other technologies for the government and healthcare verticals.

Avnet has had a mobility solutions practice since 2006. Under this new Avnet-Motion Computing agreement, Avnet will distribute the LE1700 Tablet PC and the Motion C5. The latter is a portable PC featuring an integrated bar code scanner, RFID reader and digital camera to help automate healthcare workflow.
