In response to Chris, your correct, FieldNation is a great deal for a buyer/client, but not so great for the provider, and the number one problem with FieldNation is the fact that they are "SLOW PAY" (>20 days - >15 is standard), and alter their pay schedule and process all the time, with no notice. The current pay schedule has no firm dates or day of the week cut-off's, meaning you never know when you will be paid for completed and approved projects. And since the provider is the only one paying the fee, the provider should be fully informed of the process, and they are much too vague in the support area. As to payment process, GO ONFORCE, it's 2 business days from approval to bank !!

The website www.FieldNation.com that I have been using offers exactly what onforce.com does. But, cool thing its absolutely FREE for the buyers/customers. And they have over 13,000 IT technicians nationwide.
It's a very good deal. Thought someone might find it useful.

I found a very interesting post on The VAR Guy.
It talks about how OnForce, the online market place for IT service provider, “is feeling pretty upbeat about business in North America.”

NewMSPguy: The VAR Guy lives in the shadows at events like that. But you can reach out to Editorial Director Joe Panettieri; he oversees content on this site and The VAR Guy's sister sites (www.mspmentor.net and www.workswithu.com).
