Apparently, The VAR Guy is still in Orlando — running from one classic ride to the next in DisneyWorld, The Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney Hollywood Studios, Disney Animal Kingdom, Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. Here are his top five classic theme park rides in Orlando.
5. Peter Pan’s Flight: Frequently the longest line in the park. Most adults think this is purely for the kids. The VAR Guy disagrees.

4. Jaws: A big rubber shark. A massive plastic pool. It’s cheesy… until you hear the theme music. We’re gonna need a bigger boat.

3. The Haunted Mansion: Is the floor dropping or is the ceiling rising?
2. Pirates of the Caribbean: Long before Johnny Depp took Captain Jack Sparrow to the big screen, our resident blogger was setting sail for this classic indoor boat ride.

1. Space Mountain: Ah, the old classic never feels old. Instead, The VAR Guy feels like a kid again when riding this timeless wonder. He first climbed aboard, at six years old, with his dad. This time around, one of The VAR Guy’s sons will take their first rides.

OMG i got on the the space mountain and that was sooo
cool but scary at the same time i also got on the peter pan’s flight and the haunted mansion and i love it!
I agree wtih all the rest but what is the big deal about Peter Pan’s flight? It never fails to amaze me that it has such long long lines but the attraction never seemed to justify them. Doesn’t seem to be very differnet from White’s adventure or Pooh’s Adventure, adn those have much shorter lines.
shey@1: The VAR Guy shares your passion for wimpy kid rides that still please adults.
marlene@2: The VAR Guy appreciates your decision to post a new comment on an old blog entry. Your timing is perfect. The VAR Guy expect to be in Orlando around Nov. 2 for a range of IT channel conferences…
