The IdeaPad S10e netbook will be available starting at the end of November through Lenovo education sales and business partners.

Not actually available through the Lenovo site and not for another month.

I went to the Lenovo link above and it doesn’t offer Linux as an option, that I could find. It says it comes with XP Home edition and I clicked on the chat support button and the rep said they no longer have Linux as an option? Any ideas of what I’m missing or is anyone else seeing the same thing?

Roy: You are onto something there. HP’s latest Netbook press release has a very generic description of which version they’re using. So, not all is perfect with SLED (SUSE Linux Enterprise Edition).

Meanwhile, H-P seems to be dumping SLED, replacing it with its own version/variant based on Debian*untu with a proprietary layer.
