		<description>Places and System menu gone?  Task listing???  This is insane.  I don&#039;t understand why you would want any of this.  I like Gnome the way it is.  Add some 3d functionality but leave the basic interface alone.  The Places menu alone means I can use very few (currently no) desktop icons.  Please don&#039;t do this.</description>

		<description>On the surface I can&#039;t say that I care much for what I saw when I followed that link. I really didn&#039;t care for the lack of customization. The ability to make your system look and work the way you want it is one of the reasons that many love using GNU/Linux. This maybe a bad example but, I think a rework would be nice but I was thinking more of a rework in like we saw from XP to Vista. You keep the basics the same but just add a nicer slicker looking version of the same thing. That is concerning the appearance only not the way that Vista works or fails to work as the case may be.</description>
