Two examples: The company does not have an organization chart nor do employees have job descriptions. That forces new employees to really walk the halls and talk to peers as they get up to speed within the company. Will the "un" management approach scale? Stanton says yes, but concedes things might get a little more formal if/when ADTRAN is a larger company approaching 10,000 employees. Ted Cole, the company's channel chief, confirmed the claim.
