The only thing I've heard about Windows 7 that has peaked my interest is touch. But even that isn't enough to tempt me to try it. And it's not exactly an entirely new feature. Yes it has multi-touch support and supports all manner of weird gestures. But existing touch support in both XP and Vista handles most of what people need in terms of touch.

I'm happy with Ubuntu. It's upgrades are predictable and the Ubuntu team tell us what they're planning before they implement it.

DOUGman: Keep us posted. We'd like to hear more about your experience with Windows 7. Although The VAR Guy has openly bashed the Vista mess, he's keeping an open mind on Windows 7.

I just installed the '6801 build' seems stable enough, and file transfer's for me were much faster then Blista, on a 5-year old laptop.

Someone mentioned to me that DRM laden code will come later perhaps during development.

The '7000 build' is out and available, someone mentioned that it reminded them of KDE 3.5 hmmmmmmmmm.....

I am happy with Linux.. :)
