The only anology I can come up with is Ben Stiller in the ‘Night at the Museum’. The SMB VAR is Ben Stiller and the monkey with the plastic multi-colored Fisher Price keys on the plastic ring is Novell. Your article descibes what the plastic keys are all about, and being Ben Stiller (the nightwatchman), I am torn on whether to tell you that I have the real steel keys in my pockets and those plastic keys that you are dangling in front of my face won’t help me. I would also have to tell you that although I don’t mind hanging out with monkeys all night, I am really doing the nightwatchman job for the money, so I can make sure my kids get through college.

I read your article. It was good as usual.
You were going to tell me when a VAR can make money selling Novell file servers, so just let me know when they have it figured out…No urgency, but just let me know.
