Some high-tech companies have canceled their partner summits amid the recession. Juniper, however, confirms that it’s moving ahead with the annual J-Partner Summit. It’s scheduled for May 18-19 in Las Vegas, and CEO Kevin Johnson will be on hand to share his vision.

I’m glad they are doing this. Personally, I’m switching our entire Enterprise over to Juniper – and I can tell you this: i’ve never been happier. They beat Cisco hands down on Price (I’m saving our firm over 40% in recurring costs) and they beat Cisco on the OS. Junos is amazing. They also beat them on simplicity and quite frankly, it feels good to move away from Cisco.
I would encourage others to take a look at their offerings.
The VAR Guy certainly welcomes healthy competition in the networking market. And Juniper has been smart to position their J-Partner conference right next to Interop the past few years. Curious to see how many partners attend each show…
