Jeff: Fair points. I've got voicemail into Midas Networks and two other VARs/resellers seeking comment. When they give answers, I'll share them.

The original IBM announcement in December broke down how the bundle pricing was shared between Virtual Bridges and Canonical.

But what is currently available on the Virtual Bridges website does not include Canonical support priced in at all. The price point starts at $100 per client down to $49 per client for large volume sales...without Canonical support priced in.

Are these reseller's selling a bundle with Canonical support priced in? Or are they just leveraging the no acquisition cost of Ubuntu to lower the prices of their own in-house support services?
