Ed Henao: Reader comments are welcome on TheVARguy.com. But The VAR Guy pushes hard for full disclosure from readers. Are you a current/former NetSuite partner? Are you a VAR? Are you working for a competitor?

Please give us some context for your perspectives.

NetSuite's business partner program is not credible. The company is not channel friendly and it is common knowledge that NetSuite uses its inside telesales to poach partners customers' for software upgrades, renewals and services. Partner beware.

As a NetSuite lover, I am glad to see this coverage. Just this afternoon I was in an internal meeting about purchasing yet another NetSuite module. Powerful stuff for serious companies.

I have heard this event was possibly going to be in SF in November. I'll be there with a few folks from my company and I hope that NetSuite is serious about partner recruitment. My concern and I see it playing out here is that NetSuite basically wants the mid-market Microsoft Gold Partner types, not the "small business specialists" level.

We shall see...harrybbbb
