  • Avnet Technology Solutions launched a virtual trade show to spotlight embedded solutions for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), independent software vendors (ISVs), system builders and system integrators in North America.
  • Also, Avnet Technology Solutions will host its first SecurePath University training event, July 14-16 in the Chicago area.
  • Bell Micro’s North American Security Group has signed a distribution agreement with VASCO, which specializees in Internet security software.
  • Cisco and Westcon have launched a customized service offering for VARs and MSPs.
  • Exalead, which develops search-based business application technology, has launched a North American Partner Program for its , designed to foster an ecosystem of business applications built on Exalead’s award-winning CloudView platform.
  • ITS Partners has joined Symantec’s National Partner Organization, which spans 16 national VARs with either a national or multi-regional reach.
  • MindXchange has joined the Consonus SAFE channel partner program, which leverages Symantec’s Enterprise Vault and delivers it as a managed service.
  • RokkSoft Solutions, which specializes in ERP SaaS applications for manufacturers, has launched a partner program for Agent Partners.
  • Tech Data expanded its distribution partnership with Hitachi Software Engineering America, Ltd., to include Hitachi’s StarBoard interactive whiteboards. The products are available through Tech Data’s Digital Signage and Projectors Specialized Business Unit (SBU).
  • Tone Software launched the ReliaTel-Streamline Partner Plus Program, designed for VoIP channel partners and managed service providers.
