As McAfee gobbles up MX Logic in the SaaS (software as a service) security market, an MX Logic rival called Reflexion Networks pushes ahead with a pure channel partner business model. In this FastChat Video, Reflexion VP of Sales and Marketing Scott Barlow (pictured) describes his company’s market position and partner strategy.
The VAR Guy met Barlow during CompTIA Breakaway 2009 in Las Vegas. Here are highlights from the conversation:

I highly recommend Reflexion Total Control to any VAR that is looking to get a handle on spam rates, reduce service calls, and put control in the hands of the individual users.
My second vendor in a year was having a failure they could not resolve. In September 2007 Reflexion rescued me and my clients. Even with Reflexion’s growth, they are still providing exceptional service and support.
We are an MSP on the east coast and absolutely LOVE working with Reflexion. There customer and tech support are basically the best we have ever experienced from any vendor, their hosted email protection services are very robust and quite affordable. They are extremely MSP-friendly, and we have integrated their services into our managed services offerings. Their master control panel for solution providers is the fastest online system we’ve used to date, and enables granular control over all clients, quarantines, etc.
I guess you could say that we are raving fans.
Tina, Ben: Thanks for describing your experiences with Reflexion. The VAR Guy isn’t in the business of picking favorites. Nor does our resident blogger actually review IT products/services. But The VAR Guy does appreciate real perspectives from real solutions providers. Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts earlier.
