Joe:
So Augustin says that MS is great at supporting SugarCRM as an ISV. Seems to me you missed the opportunity to ask how Augustin feels about Canonical in that regard. SugarCRM was in the Canonical partner repository for Ubuntu 6.06..and then not afterwards. Maybe their lack of interest in participating in Canonical’s partner repository for the Hardy LTS release is answer enough.
Too bad you didn’t ask about whether they plan to work with Canonical again for the next Ubuntu LTS which is due out in 2010, especially if they are talking about Amazon’s EC2 as a target platform..a platform Canonical is betting heavily on with its UEC offering.

Hi Jef: I didn’t really do a deep dive on specific Linux offerings in this interview. However, you raise a good point for a potential follow-up blog — particularly for WorksWithU.com, our sister site. I will ping SugarCRM and get some answers regarding Ubuntu.
