Apple’s online store is dark today. Plenty of pundits have been wondering if Apple plans to counter Microsoft’s Oct. 22 launch of Windows 7. Is the long-rumored Apple Tablet on its way? Or does Apple have something less spectacular planned? Either way, Mr. Jobs apparently plans to counter Mr. Ballmer. And The VAR Guy is enjoying the gamesmanship.
