LANDesk's Management Suite 9.0 product that is coming out in one month is going to have a complete reporting revamp and it is using Jasper. This should be a big boost for Jasper and help them.

VAR Guy, you've pinpointed the main problem facing open source in the IT channel. I'm not sure distributors have ERP, CRM and other application partners that can help open source providers like Pentaho, Jaspersoft, SugarCRM, Compiere and the like.

If anyone thinks I'm wrong just show me some examples of distributors helping open source companies find ERP, CRM and business intelligence integrators. Any examples out there???
