Amid fierce competition with Cisco Systems and Hewlett-Packard for partner attention, Juniper has shifted the date of its J-Partner Summit away from rival event schedules to a more reasonable May 24-26, 2010. Smart move. Here’s why.
Originally, the J-Partner Summit was set for the week of April 26, 2010. But the Cisco Systems Partner Summit, HP Americas Partner Summit, Interop and HTG Peer Group gatherings all were scheduled for that same week.
The VAR Guy heard rumors about a J-Partner Summit date shift last week. (Were you reading between the lines and paying attention?) Now, the date shift is official. Juniper partners will converge May 24-26 at the Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix.

Three cheers for Juniper. Thank you, thank you, thank you for doing what’s best for your partners (as usual). Has the company shared an agenda yet for the event and where can I get more information about registration?
KJ: Can The VAR Guy safely assume you’re a Juniper partner? Do you also partner with HP, Cisco?
