PartnerNet is Intermec’s new global channel program and it has a few goals, the biggest of which is profitability and growth for partners. Of course, becoming a PartnerNet members means you can capitalize on new business opportunities. Intermec boasts a swath of industry knowledge and strong sales. Specifically, membership benefits include:

  • Project registration – protecting member return on sales investments
  • Partner Relationship Management (PRM) system – equipping members with easy to use enhanced communication and tracking capabilities
  • Performance-based rewards – rewarding members with financial incentives for high performance in delivering Intermec solutions
  • Predictable account management – providing members with clear customer account rules of engagement

A groundbreaking partner program? Perhaps not. But we’re curious to know how many solutions providers jump onto the Intermec bandwagon.

    Build it and they will come? Our firm has been tracking efforts like these in the channel and we can safely say that without a focused effort on getting partner to adopt new program features, many companies end up with first class strategy with second class results. In fact, we’ve found that successful channel organizations may invest up to a third of their channel marketing budget in supplier-to-partner marketing efforts to raise partner adoption.
