Zift Solutions, which provides SaaS marketing services to companies and their channel partners, has announced the completion of a $1.5 million round of funding led by VC Kinetic Ventures. Here’s the scoop.
The new income has already enabled Zift Solutions to move operations to Durham, N.C., according to the company’s press release. As an additional part of the deal, Kinetic Ventures Managing Director Jake Tarr will join Zift’s board of directors.
The Zift Solutions, ahem, solution, involves giving clients the tools to make event management, e-mail marketing, online ads, and other advertising materials once and then distribute them to their MSP and VAR channel partners quickly and easily. For Venture Capital’s part, they say that they invested in Zift because of the strength of the solution and the potential it represents to save 50% on marketing expenses.
“The Zift Solutions platform solves a significant problem, dramatically increasing the productivity of channel organizations,” said Tarr in a prepared statement.
The VAR Guy wasn’t familiar with Zift Solutions before, but it sounds like they have a handle on a way to help VARs make money. To that end, we’re going to try to get in touch with Zift, so stay tuned.
