Westcon and Tech Data continue to promote highly targeted opportunities to VARs and integrators. At Westcon, the buzz this week involves security. And over at Tech Data, the distribution giant says it has doubled its health care business with channel partners. Here’s the update on both fronts.

First, Westcon — which has launched an Express To Success program designed around marketing, sales, training and demand generation. It’s offered at no charge to Westcon resellers that want to push deeper into IT security. You can find more details here.

Meanwhile, Tech Data says its healthcare business grew more than 100 percent during the first half of 2010. Moreover, nearly 300 members of Tech Data’s TechMed Alliance have nearly doubled their sales this year through Tech Data. Eager to build on that momentum, Tech Data kicked off a Healthcare Partner Summit in Las Vegas this week.
