6. Sweet Success: Epicom, a SugarCRM Gold Partner, was named SugarCRM’s first ever partner of the month for November 2010. Channel partners  account for approximately 70 percent of new SugarCRM billings.

5. Death Watch: Hewlett-Packard has killed its Windows Home Server line. The move comes amid a controversial technical change to Windows Home Server. The VAR Guy wonders: Is Windows Home Server an endangered species? Hmmm…

4. Conspiracy Theory: SaaS specialist NetSuite spends considerable time attacking SAP. But NetSuite doesn’t spend much time (if any) attacking Oracle. Why’s that? Hmmm… Could it be Oracle CEO Larry Ellison’s investment in NetSuite?

3. Cleared for Landing: Despite some challenging weather in Europe, the Cisco Partner Velocity marketing event is set to kick off Dec. 6 in Barcelona. VP of Worldwide Partner Marketing Luanne Tierney sure sounds relieved in her Twitter feed. Sounds like Keith Goodwin also will be on hand.
