ArrowWebsense is expanding its distribution agreement with Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions (ECS) to North America. Until now, Arrow ECS has carried Websense security products through ECS, but only in Europe. Read on for the meat and potatoes of the expanded partnership …

Arrow ECS has security on the brain, so adding Websense’s security portfolio helps provide the “best-in-breed” security solutions Arrow has committed to bring its partners. All partners in North America now have access to the entire portfolio of Websense’s products, including its TRITON solution, web security, e-mail security and DLP offerings.

And, as you’d expect, Arrow ECS will provide training and IT certification for resellers and MSPs providing any Websense solutions. There’s also a special Websense TRITON Solution Customer First Initiative, designed to be a “three-pronged program,” according to the company, with enhanced support, training and tools so customers can get the best security at the lowest cost of ownership with the TRITON product.

The Websense agreement is the latest in a series of moves to help Arrow ECS better serve its reseller customers. The distributor earlier this month launched its Virtual Bench social networking site at IBM Lotusphere 2011, a move it hopes will help resellers help each other in a neutral environment.
