Scale Computing is looking to scoop up HP VARs serving the SME space by offering them something different in the way of extra incentives. If you’re an HP VAR assessing the landscape for potential new suitors, Scale Computing’s Partner Program offers free technical training and other goodies designed to re-incentivize and increase the bottom line. Intrigued? Read on for more details …
In case you don’t already know, Scale Computing provides scalable virtualization tools to the SME market. Most recently, the company revamped its partner program, promising zero partner conflict and new partner tiers. Now, Scale Computing is targeting HP VARs in the wake of some alleged changes to the partner certification required for the P4000 SAN solution, also known as HP LeftHand. (However, judicious Googling on my part has turned up no evidence of complaints.) Scale Computing is questioning HP’s commitment to smaller VARs, since it believes the new changes could cause unnecessary problems or hurdles.
VARs can join up with the Scale Computing Partner Program and take advantage of free (for a limited time) web-based sales, marketing and technical training, in addition to a “$350 special payment incentives for fast sales,” according to the company. What’s more, Scale Computing said its highest partner level only needs half of the demand-generation level HP’s Enterprise Storage Partner program requires.
Scale Computing promises partners can be certified in less than a day. If you’re ready for something new, check out Scale Computing’s press release to find out how you can sign up and get your free training.
