The VAR Guy apparently is set to infiltrate six different IT channel conferences this week. Skeptical? Here’s the conference lineup — in alphabetical order — for June 6 through June 11, along with what The VAR Guy expects to uncover at each event…

1. Asigra Cloud Backup Partner Summit (June 7-8, Toronto): Does anybody else find it very interesting that Symantec will be on-hand for another storage software company’s cloud conference? Intriguing indeed…

2. Cloud Computing Expo (June 6-9, New York): There’s too much to share in this little blog entry. But The VAR Guy is particularly intrigued to hear what Oracle Senior VP Anthony Lyle has to say. Lyle leads Oracle’s on-premise and on-demand CRM initiatives. Will Oracle attempt to crush Salesforce.com, or is Oracle happy to sit back and let thousands of service providers quietly run Oracle databases and middleware as the foundation for cloud platforms?

3. Dell Storage Forum (June 5-11, Orlando): Frequent readers of this blog know that VARs should keep a close eye on Dell’s acquisition of Compellent. Dell Channel Chief Greg Davis will also be on hand.

4. HP Discover (June 6-10, Las Vegas): Here it comes… Multiple sources from within the HP Garage say the company will launch some sort of cloud computing channel program. The likely name: HP AgileCloud or CloudAgile. Early details have surfaced on The VAR Guy’s sister site, TalkinCloud.

5. Schnizzfest (June 9-11, Philadelphia): Outsiders would never know it by the name, but insiders know Schnizzfest conference is designed for MSPs that work closely with TruMethods, a coaching and sales development organization. Here’s what to expect.

6. SMB Nation (June 10-11, Toronto): The VAR Guy is keeping close tabs on SMB Nation Spring and CEO Harry Brelsford. One rumor: A potential CXO change within the SMB Nation community is coming sometime this year, though Harry Bbbb will certainly stay plugged in… Right?

That’s all for now. Time for The VAR Guy to double-check all of his flight tickets and hotel reservations. Can our resident blogger really surface in Toronto (twice…), New York, Orlando, Las Vegas and Philadelphia this week? Never bet against The VAR Guy…
