    Hmmm. Channel conferences 2012. The VarGuy is getting our interest peaked early! How about some New Year’s resolutions for all speakers at VAR events. The upcoming conferences could be a great recipe for success if OEMs would put in the right ingredients:

    1) Add channel executives talking vision and value,
    2) Add in a few relevant(and short)demos,
    3) Continue with some breakout sessions that offer VARs specific skills, content and a pathway to value selling,
    4) Mix in a lot of passion, and
    5) Ban any PowerPoints over 10 minutes long!
