It’s a been a while since we heard about Panorama Software, the business intelligence (BI) software provider for the enterprise. The company has made several upgrades to its BI software solution since mid-2011, but none bigger (and more relevant to you, reader) than its most recent upgrade: Panorama has further integrated its Necto platform with Microsoft SharePoint.
Keep in mind, Necto was integrated with SharePoint when it was first released. The news here is that Necto users now have greater SharePoint capabilities.
Indeed, SharePoint users can create reports within the Necto platform, even while they’re working within SharePoint. No longer do users have to flip between the two solutions to leverage Necto’s discussion features; rather, Necto business users can collaborate with others within the SharePoint MySite platform. That means employees handling a company’s business intelligence data can collaborate faster with workers on the other end who don’t have access to the same BI.
Panorama’s ultimate goal was to promote more collaboration and sharing of critical data and insights between workers.
