Quick refresher: The Jenne Solution Design tool on the partner portal website give partners the ability to quote, check out product specifications, sketch out solutions for customers, configure and probe into expanded UC opportunities. Specifically, LifeSize’s portfolio is bringing partners “scalable, enterprise-quality client-server solutions,” most of which focus on HD video. According to the press release, statistics from Global Industry Analysts show the video collaboration market increasing to “$14 billion by 2017,” so Jenne sees adding LifeSize as a considerable win: Having LifeSize incorporated into the design tool will now give VARs an expanded catalog of resources to help build and deploy video solutions for their customers. It’s just that simple.

In case you missed it, Jenne built out its multivendor quote system in August 2011, and expanded its relationship with LifeSize by offering specific LifeSize training. Jenne’s recent partnership with Logitech is also telling, since LifeSize is a division of Logitech. So it’s fair to say Jenne has an affinity for this vendor family.
